When Success Takes A Step Back.

Are things just not working out in your business like they used to? Are you finding yourself more more frustrated as your business is bringing in less and less money?
Are you wracking your brains trying to figure out just where it is that you took a wrong turn, as you try to figure out why you aren’t seeing the fruits of your business like you used to?
Take a second to calm down and let’s go back to the drawing board. Is there anything that you’re doing different. Sometimes the things that we do different, hurt instead of helping as it throws our business off kilter.
Are you over complicating things instead of just keeping it simple? Sometimes doing too much in your business too soon can have an adverse effect. Every technique and method is not for everyone. Sometimes it’s better to wait before you branch out too much. Branching out too much occurs when you are pulled in so many different directions in your business that you can clearly focus on one task. Is that you? It can also occur when you are taking on too many ventures at one time before you are ready.
Are you making things difficult by not automating as much as you can. Are mundane tasks taking up too much of your time? Don’t be afraid to automate, the easier it is for you the more you’ll feel like working at your business, the faster you’ll see results and the more time you’ll have freed up for other aspects of your business. Don’t make it hard on yourself if you don’t have to.
Look at it like this: How much business would a supermarket get if instead of those fancy cash registers that calculate down to the penny weren’t used and instead each cashier was given a pencil, some paper and a bag to put the money in and give change from. That would be a huge hassle.
The reason to automate is to make the process go smoothly. Automated tasks can be done 24 hours a day so you don’t have to work 24 hours a day.
If you saw some success in the past, what were you doing then that you’re not doing now or what are you doing now that you weren’t doing then? This may seem really simple but many times the answer is not that hard to find. Through process of elimination you can figure out what the problem is and get back on track with your business.
This is what I do when I have bumps in the road. It happens. Once successful doesn’t mean that you’ll always be successful, it just means you have a better chance of staying successful if you continue to do the right things. A business needs work and maintenance to maintain or increase the current level of success.
Ask yourself these questions.
- Do I spend as much time on my business as I used to?
- Is my business still a top priority to me?
- Am I’m promoting my business as much as I used to.
- Am I spreading myself too thin with other ventures?
- Has my business become more of a hobby?
The answers to these questions can help point you in the right direction towards finding the solution. The quicker you find the solution the better for you and your business.
When you’ve seen some success and then it seems like your business just takes a big slide back, it can be stressful because you’re left wonder why or what happend but all you have to do is take a little time to look at the whole picture.
I want you to take time to carefully consider the matter so you can find out what the problem is for the good of your business. Once you do so you can then take the correct measures towards correcting the problem by making changes. Once you do that, you’ll be able to get your business back on track.

Downline Abandonment Is A Horrible Thing.

Down line abandonment is a horrible thing. Unfortunately, it’s all too common in the network marketing industry, using the old bait and switch tactic just to make a little money.
This occurs when you highlight the benefits of your business, like how much money you can make, the ranks you can reach and how great the products are in order to get someone else to join your business and you don’t follow through on helping them to be prepared to start their own business. Especially if you promised them the sun, moon, stars, fancy cars and gourmet meals.
So many people in network marketing and direct sales don’t realize that it’s not so much about the number of people that you bring into the business but about the number of people that you actually retain in your business.
People who are frustrated, not making any money, who are not pointed in the right direction by the ones who recruited them or someone else above them on the team, so they can begin to build a real business of their own instead of just building their upline’s only wind up quitting.
When you recruit somebody with only dollar signs in mind, without any thought whatsoever to their well being and success in their business, you are cheating them and yourself. It’s obvious how you are cheating them but it might not be so obvious as to how you are cheating yourself.
Its more unlikely that they’ll successfully build the business with no help or direction and it is more likely that they will quit. How is that helping you? If you have to constantly find new people without ever holding on to any of those that you have recruited or sponsored, how do you expect to grow your business.
In the past I have been a victim of abandonment. I paid to join the company and $500 twice to upgrade because they took the upgrade and my downline from me because I didn’t properly understand what was required of me. I had to jump through hoops to get paid, in fact they owe me money, and is one of the main reasons I thought I’d never be involved in that type of business again.
When they merged with a certain company all my respect for them went out of the window. I opted not to join them after really thinking about it. The compensation plan as well as the products disappeared and we were to now embrace the rules, compensation and products of the new company. No thanks!
I never in a million years thought, I who am already growing several businesses of my own would ever get back into network marketing and become an Independent Beachbody Coach. I get more support now from my team and not just my direct upline than I ever got put together from any company I have ever been in.
Don’t promise someone the sun, moon and stars if you don’t even plan to be around after they electronically sign their contract with the network marketing company that you are involved with. Some people will choose not to take your call or answer your messages and emails after they’ve convinced you to sign up and you are now income to them. It’s not fair or right.
Don’t treat someone in a way that you don’t want to be treated. If your upline treated you that way, don’t turn around and do it to someone else. Honestly, if you aren’t in a position to help someone get started, you’re not in a position to build a downline. Point blank! This doesn’t mean you have to do everything for them or babysit them. Become an expert pointer. Point them in the right direction. Share what you know so both of you can grow.
I think that there should be a rule in network marketing that stipulates if you don’t attempt to put your downline on the right path, you should lose them. Why should you benefit from what they do if you can’t even show them where to start or answer a question if necessary. Teach them how to look for answers by pointing them in the right direction. Everyone doesn’t know all that you know. Reach out to your upline if you can’t help them but don’t leave them hanging because they will move on and leave you and that doesn’t benefit you.
The crass method of recruiting them and leaving them is not only highly unfair to the one you are sponsoring but also very unproductive for your business. Teaching your downline the right way to build their business in turn builds your business. That’s what a smart business person does. They build their business. Helping someone else to learn how to build theirs, can help build yours. It’s that simple.
If you teach your downline how to get started and stay in contact with them so you can offer further guidance down the line, even it’s just pointing where they can learn this or that and why they should because you don’t have to be an expert, they can do the same for their downline. This helps them to earn in their business, makes them want to stay and build the business and of course this helps you to earn in your business. It’s win-win for everyone.
If you want a strong team a successful people duplicating actions that bring real results, you have to teach and train those that you bring into your network marketing business. Set them on the right path. You not only have a moral obligation because they trusted you enough to pay money to join your team and buy into your dream which they now share with you, you also have an obligation to your own business.
It’s not just the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do. Help your team to be strong and you’ll build a long lasting and successful business. Skimp on helping your dowline teammates that you bring in and your business will never flourish.
4 Ways To Steer Your Business Towards Success.
By · Comments4 Ways To Steer Your Business Towards Success.
By: Alice Coaxum
From idea to actual conception, you might have a vision of success that you’d like to see for your business. This is good because you have clear goals in mind and it will help you to work harder because you know that in order to achieve those goals you must keep pushing and striving.
But what if you don’t know exactly where you want your business to go and how to get there. What if all you have are great ideas you’d like to implement or a business that just isn’t gaining any momentum and you’re ready to go back to the drawing board? Is there any hope for your business.
Here are 4 surefire ways to steer your business in the right direction:
1. Figure out, what you want to accomplish from your business in one month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. Be realistic, because it’s highly unlikely that you will generate thousands of dollars in sales the first day or month without any experience. Do you want the revenue from your business to cover a bill? Do you want to replace your current income? Knowing where you want to go will help you better plan on how to get there.
2. Set some type of schedule. While some have to be super scheduled down to the minute, for others scheduling a start time and which day per week you will work on can be enough. Never leave your business to chance. So many things can arise, causing you to put your business on the back burner. Having a designated day or time to work on it can keep you consistently moving forward. In order to reach and maintain success, you can never stand still.
3. Automate. If there is some type of quality tool that you can invest in that will allow your business to run more smoothly and efficiently, by all means, get that tool which will allow your business to accelerate at a faster rate. Free isn’t always the best option, sometimes the paid versions of tools are so much better because they allow you to perform more of the tasks that you need for your business, easily.
For example: Would you rather be able to take orders around the clock for digital products or invoice each and every customer. Doing it the automated way, may cost you upfront for a good shopping cart but will allow you the freedom to live your life, sleep and work on your business while sales are being calculated around the clock. Simplifying for the customers makes them want to purchase even more. Many don’t want to jump through hoops when they are spending their money. Make it easy on them.
4. Evaluate the success or lack of success of your business. You need to see what’s working and what’s not. There is no point doing things exactly the same way forever if it isn’t bringing in the results that you desire.
