By: Alice Coaxum
When you’re first beginning to learn how affiliate marketing works, you can’t just rely on any old affiliate marketing course to get you to the advanced levels you need to go in order to earn money, each and every month.
You should begin studying some more specialized topics on affiliate marketing or necessary to make affiliate marketing work in order to help you gain traffic, make sales repeatedly and ultimately convert into more sales with higher commissions.
There are 4 points that you really need to focus your efforts on and those are: blogging, list building, social marketing, and trends in marketing. If you master the four of these points, you’ll be amazed at how much growth you can generate. Knowledge truly is power. Don’t go into affiliate marketing blind.
Blogging is extremely important to learn as an affiliate because your blog is your home on the ‘net, many people learn the basics of setting up a blog and but never take it any further, resulting in a dull and stagnant blog. It’s simply not enough to know the technical aspects of a blog set up. You also want to do more than just slap any old articles onto your blog. If you’re going to use PLR make sure it’s of high quality.
You should take the time to learn more advanced blogging strategies. This would includes things like using plugins to help your blog’s SEO, knowing your blog’s stats as well as elements that present the best communication and navigation to your audience.
As a blogger you should always strive to hone and fine tune your blogging skills and strategies for their blog just as a musician fine tunes their instruments to keep them in tip top shape for playing. It takes more than one product review with a few links to become an authority in your niche.
List building is something so important, yet too many affiliates easily dismiss list building. I did too at first but now I use Aweber. Most times they have sign up special for $1 for your first month. Most beginners are just after that initial click through and end up missing out on years of potential sales due to making this mistake.
Take the new parents niche, for example:
There are endless opportunities to cater to many new parent’s needs in that niche, because you can promote things like parenting books and ebooks initially, and then expand to all aspects of things that a new parent would need from bottles and toys, movies, home décor for the newborn baby’s room, as well as furniture like cribs, changing tables and outdoor gear like strollers.
You need to know not only the technical details of list building, but also gain keen insight into how to grow your list and how to make your subscribers more responsive to you. There’s a lot to learn and put into action so definitely make time for learning.
You should learn the ins and outs of social marketing on sites like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Google Plus. There are literally dozens of books and courses on this topic that can set you on the right path. You can learn how to use free traffic generating sites like Facebook, Google Plus, and Twitter, to increase the amount of affiliate sales that you receive.
If you plan on branching out or expanding your main niche or starting a new one, then you’ll want to learn how to spot trends. It’s important that you understand how you can research and keep your ears wide open in order to keep in the know about what’s hot and what’s working by using trend data to dominate your niche.

What Is The Best Online Business That Requires Little Or No Investment?
By: Alice Coaxum
When it comes to the term “best”, that truly is in the eyes of the one beholder. For one person’s version of the best online business might be hard or net little or no income for another person. However it is possible to earn money online without shelling out thousands of dollars. Many people start out with little or no budget when trying to create an income from home.
For many, affiliate marketing, the promoting and selling of products that belong to another person for a cut or percentage of the profits, is a great way to generate some income with little or no investment. Affiliate marketing is one of the methods I use to generate income. When I refer others to useful products and services, I earn a percentage of the sale for doing so.
This type of business attracts many because it can be done with little or no upfront costs. Most affiliate programs don’t charge you anything to join or participate in their programs. So, you wouldn’t have to purchase a kit or buy products monthly like you would with most MLM or Direct Sales companies.
While you can use 100% free tools to promote your affiliate products that you are promoting, like free blogs, free websites, free autoresponders and other tools, some affiliate marketers some marketers choose to invest in low cost tools like:
1. Web hosting - So they can create niche websites or blogs to share content relevant to the types of affiliate programs that they are promoting.
2. Email autoresponders like Aweber where affiliate marketers can write and send emails in order to contact those who choose to join their list. This is a way that affiliate marketers can share products as well as relevant content with those on their list.
3. PLR content, so they can quickly have the amount of fresh content that they need for their websites, blogs or email autoresponders.
Other ways to earn.
Affiliate marketing while extremely popular, isn’t the only way to earn money with little or no upfront cost. There isn’t a right or wrong way to earn money online as long as it’s legal and doesn’t involve scamming or deceiving it really depends on what you are willing to do to earn money.
Some promote products and services from Direct Sales or MLM companies, create handcrafted items by crocheting, painting, sewing, beading or other using methods to create handcrafted products that they can sell. They might start off with a small amount of supplies and add to their stash of crafting goodies as they gain customers and begin to make money.
People who are inclined towards writing, are opinionated or passionate about certain topics or use PLR content to help with content creation and sell advertising space or allow advertising networks to place advertisements on their website which allows them to earn from home.
There are PTC (paid to click) opportunities where participants are paid to view ads or emails. Some people earn money online by completing offers, tasks or surveys for various websites.
Others may earn money assisting local businesses or those with home based businesses, with their websites, social media tasks and other online needs or even by writing articles or creating other types of content for those who need it.

The 411 On Affiliate Marketing.
By: Alice Coaxum
Affiliate marketing, which is the promotion of another persons products and services for profit, is a great way to add an additional stream to your income. Many are currently taking advantage of this type of income creator, they know that you can make money online with affiliate marketing, because so many people shop online for various products and doesn’t take much at all to get started though, you may wish to take a more professional route once you are earning if you can’t do so from the very beginning.
Don’t think that you’re cut out for affiliate marketing? Chances are that you have already been doing it for free, for a long time.
We start telling people our preferences as children when we begin to discover our likes and dislikes and it just continues throughout our lives. Most children can tell you their favorite juice, candy, ice cream, cartoons, games and toys.
Have you ever tried a product or service, loved it and recommended it to your friends, family member or even a to stranger in a store? Because of your positive review, have any of those people ever decided to take a chance and try the product or service for themself? Most likely this scenario has occurred. People naturally share the things that they like and love.
That’s affiliate marketing, minus the money. Even though the company who markets the product or service, earned money on the sale because of your glowing recommendations, you didn’t earn a single penny on that transaction.
But what if you could? On the internet this is possible … there are so many people and companies who sell products and services, that would love to have a little help from you, with promoting what they have to offer, in exchange for a percentage of the profits and it isn’t unusual for them to offer you 30 or even 50% of the profits for digital product.
You might easily net 4- 20% or maybe even more, for tangible product which is less than you’ll get when you promote digital products, but there is a good reason for that. Digital products don’t cost anything to reproduce once they’re made and so it’s advantageous to promote both tangible and digital products.
People search the internet every single day for both, why not let them find the products that you are promoting so you can earn a percentage of the profits from the sales?
Some products have a recurring fee which you can get a cut of too, each and every month that the customer pays. This is residual income that you can build on by introducing more customers to that particular product or service.
You might be wondering why anyone would be willing to give up so much of or any of their profits when they could just sell it themself and keep 100% of the profits.
There is a very good reason for this: affiliate marketing programs pay so well because the owners wants to expand their reach. They want to get their products in the hand of as many people as they can or on as many computer screens and smartphone screens as possible if the products are digital.
You help them to do so by introducing them to your audience in social medial as well as in the search engines: they thank you by compensating you.
If you can introduce them to 50, 100 or even 1000 new potential customers, you are greatly expanding their reach by the amount of those you bring to them and other people that they know. You earn on all of the sales that are made by those whom you personally brought to the company or products. Some affiliate programs are even set up in such a way that if that person were to come back and order again, you would earn off of those purchases too.
Remember that people talk about things that they like or love so when those new customers, that you have introduced to the products and services, share their opinions on them with their family and friends, it brings the company or product owner even more potential customers so it really is a win-win for both parties involved.
The money really adds up as you begin to get sales and most affiliate marketing programs don’t cost you anything to participate in.
Though I recommend having your own domain and hosting for a more professional look it isn’t mandatory to begin earning. Many affiliate marketers have started out using free websites to share affiliate products. Upgrade as your budget allows. The more serious you treat your business, and yes affiliate marketing can be a business, the more it will pay off for you.
Affiliate marketing can be done alongside any other type of business model that you are using to earn and many times it can compliment what you are already doing if you are already a network, affiliate marketer or blogger. You could recommend things that you are already using in your business to others and earn a profit.
You can also make use of the search engines and look for more affiliate marketing programs, there is an abundance of them for all kinds of products and services, from web hosting, info product and audios to gourmet specialty food items, apparel, jewelry, handbags, luggage and electronics.
The more consistent you are with your affiliate marketing the quicker it will pay off for you.
To your success,
Many all over the internet are utilizing affiliate marketing to either supplement an existing income or to create an income from home. Affiliate marketing is when you market affiliate products and are paid when you make a sale.
Here are four reasons that you might want to consider if you haven’t started affiliate marketing already.
1. No start up costs: Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to start earning money on the internet because it costs you nothing to sign up and participate in various affiliate programs. You don’t have to worry about paying for products on a monthly basis and some affiliate programs don’t have a quota that you must reach to get paid on a monthly basis. There are even some affiliate programs that pay instantly.
2. A wide variety of products: What’s your passion? Is it health, network marketing, food, self improvement or maybe another area? There are so many different types of affiliate products that you can promote that will be in the same niche as what you are already doing.
If you have a health and wellness blog, find affiliate programs that are centered around health and wellness products or if you have a website that shares recipes with your readers you can opt to use food and kitchen related affiliate programs.
If you are a network or internet marketer you might want to look for products to promote that center around helping other marketers like autoresponders, PLR and information products.
3. You can greatly increase your income: Depending on what you’re promoting, how you promote it and if it meshes well with your niche you try to combine it with, you can create a nice income from home by using affiliate programs. Affiliate programs can be promoted alongside whatever else you are already doing.
If you’re blogging already, you can use banner advertising or article marketing to promote products to your readers while still supplying them with quality content. When someone clicks on your link or banner and makes a purchase you earn. The more this happens the more your earnings are increased.
4. Affiliate marketers usually get a large chunk of the profits: It ‘s not uncommon to see affiliate marketing programs offering 30%, 50% or even 75% of their profits to their affiliates. Why in the world would they offer up so much of their profits? The answer is quite simple … traffic. Affiliate marketers can bring in so much more traffic than the owner of the product and program can bring in by them-self .
More people promoting make the amount of traffic and sales so much greater. In exchange, affiliate program owner are happy to pay an amount that is more than fair to ones who are bringing in sales.
