The Greatest Wealth Should Never Be Ignored.
ByThe Greatest Wealth Should Never Be Ignored.

I really find this quote to be true. Most people will spend all that they have to bring themself to better health and will do almost anything, subjecting themselves to all kinds of tests and treatments, to try to attain good health even when the attempts are futile.
When Home Based Business Meets Health:
Unfortunately, many will sacrifice their health for the almighty dollar, not even considering for a moment that the money they are chasing will end up going unused or passed along to someone else and will be used for someone else’s enjoyment in the event of their untimely demise.
Health should always comes first and it doesn’t matter what type of job you have, whether you are a crafter, busy CEO of a major company, writer, blogger, Direct Sales consultant or MLMer, your health is important and is not something to be put off for later. No business is so important that your health should be sacrificed for it.
Health is not one of those things that you can say to, “I’ll get to it later.” By the time later comes things can be so much worse.
Pulling all-nighters shouldn’t be a way of life and you should never be so busy that days go past and you haven’t had a decent meal. These type of things catch up to you. The body and mind need rest and proper nutrients.
Ignoring Your Health Doesn’t Net A Stronger Business:
We were made with a need to rest and we should take time to enjoy what we work for. We shouldn’t just work work work and never take a break or even a good breather. This is negative and does not breed productivity for the long term.
While you might get a lot done in the beginning, you will eventually slow down and tire out. We are so much more productive when we take the time to treat our bodies right.
Your well being is crucial to your ongoing success. There is only one you!
Taking care of your health is an important part of running your business, even if you are not in the health industry, because negative health can adversely affect the amount of time you can devote to your business, how much you can give of yourself as well as your morale.
If you aren’t well, how can you give 100% or even 80% to something else. Not taking care of your body increases the chance of it breaking down and not serving you in the way it was meant to. This increases the chances of you needing to start or take more medication and having more down time than you would have if you had taken the time to properly rest your body, depending on the nature of the illness.
My Experience:
I used to feel like working my business meant working almost every waking minute of the day. Boy was I wrong! Nothing can be farther from the truth. Your body needs to rest and your mind needs to relax. Burn out, boredom, lack of joy as well as health problems can creep upon you when you live your life that way.
You would think that someone that has health problems would automatically do the right things for their health but not so in my case. I had to learn that chasing money wasn’t worth making myself unhealthier than I already was and I had to grasp that working that way wasn’t going to help me to achieve anything. It was hard to focus when I didn’t have enough rest.
I would take care of my family’s health and neglect my own. Would I expect my husband to work at his job without any type of break or expect our children to have no break from their their homeschooling? Of course not. How long is living like that, even sustainable?
I noticed that I was able get more work done in less time and that I was so much more creative once I started properly resting my body and my mind. It’s not only our body that needs to rest.
Thinking about work all day every day can stress you just as much as working all day. The mind is a powerful thing and we need to be careful with what we think about on. I had to learn how to separate my home life from my business life for the good of my health and family.
It can be hard especially when you are new to online endeavours and you may feel that if you get everything done now you’ll have so much more time to rest later which really isn’t true because there will always be things that come up to keep you busy when you adopt this kind of mindset.
Your Business Is Important Too:
In no way am I minimizing how important your business should be to you and nor am I giving you a reason or excuse to slack off. This is addressing workaholics or that workaholic frame of mind that can creep out when you are doing something non home based business related and that little voice in your head tells you that you should be working and not wasting time on fun and relaxation.
Tips for keeping your health in check:
